FEMALE ARTISTRY DESERVES A PLATFORM.
So we created one. Sheer is the answer to a void in showcasing female artists and work created by women. The curation of exhibitions and events has for too long been centered around only or primarily male artists. We connected the first six Sheer artists in 2016 and produced the Sheer Showcase that thrived in Cleveland. Over 600 attendees have attended the first three editions of Sheer.

SHEER highlights and represents art created and crafted by women + sheds light on the imbalance in recognition of these artists. We are the platform to showcase and celebrate female artistry.
WHO IT IS FOR Sheer is for anyone who appreciates art, in the visual, audio or experiential form, anyone who recognizes that there should be more platforms and showcases for female talent + anyone who wants to connect with a dope community of creators.
WHAT IT IS Sheer is a community of female artists, an experiential platform organized to connect artists, authentic brands, and patrons who are interested in supporting female artistry. Sheer was designed specifically to support female artists and creators from different disciplines + regions.
WHY THEY ATTEND We invite our attendees to mix, mingle, connect, enjoy cocktails + win giveaways in a uniquely curated space designed by women. We carefully select a gorgeous space and complete the backdrop for the Sheer experience with a bar + soundtrack provided by female talent.
ARTISTS
We curate exhibitions showcasing artists from a variety of disciplines, including visual arts, creators of handmade goods, writers, photographers, designers + more. These artists connect their unique communities for a massive celebration around female creators.
